Acer X1228i | XGA 4500 Lumens DLP Projector

Description

Acer X1228i: a bright, affordable XGA projector for classrooms and meeting rooms.

The Acer X1228i is a DLP projector with native XGA 1024 × 768 resolution and 4,500 lumens. It is built for lessons, training and presentations in rooms where you can’t turn off every light. The 4:3 picture suits documents, slides and teaching material, and the VGA input connects older computers that many schools and offices still use.

Bright picture for everyday use

4,500 lumens

With 4,500 lumens, the X1228i keeps slides, text and charts readable in classrooms and offices with daylight or office lighting.

20,000:1 contrast and 1.07 billion colours

The 20,000:1 contrast ratio keeps text crisp against the background, and support for 1.07 billion colours shows charts and images with natural tones.

Acer X1228i placement and picture size

The throw ratio of 1.94–2.16 with 1.1x optical zoom suits placing the projector at the back of a room or mounted on the ceiling. It works from 1 m to 11.8 m away, for pictures up to 300 inches.

Vertical keystone correction of ±40° straightens the picture when the projector sits lower or higher than the screen. The X1228i supports front, rear and ceiling projection. For a portable setup, add a projector stand.

Connections

The X1228i has VGA input for laptops and PCs, composite video, USB, and audio in and out. A VGA cable is included in the box. A built-in 3 W speaker covers small rooms; for larger rooms, connect external speakers to the audio output.
