Acer Predator GD712 | 4K HDR Gaming Projector 240Hz

Description

Acer Predator GD712: 4K HDR gaming on a screen bigger than any TV.

The Acer Predator GD712 is a DLP gaming projector made for players who want a huge, fast picture at home. It projects 4K UHD (3840 × 2160) with HDR10 support, and switches to high-refresh 1080p when speed matters more than resolution. Connect your PC or console with HDMI and play on a 100-inch picture from under 3 metres.

Built for fast gaming

Up to 240Hz in 1080p on PC

With a PC that can deliver the frames, High Frame Rate mode takes the GD712 up to 240Hz at 1080p. Fast shooters and racing games look smoother and easier to follow.

120Hz with VRR on consoles

On PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, the GD712 supports up to 120Hz at 1080p with Variable Refresh Rate. VRR syncs the projector to your console’s output to reduce tearing and judder. Acer notes that the stated refresh rate needs an HDMI 2.0 compatible device.

Game modes

Game Dark lifts detail in shadows so you can spot enemies in dark scenes. Game Bright boosts contrast for bright environments. A dedicated Football mode raises brightness, saturation and sharpness for live sport.

4K HDR picture

The GD712 projects a 4K UHD picture and is HDR10 capable. Acer rates colour coverage at 125% Rec.709, the HDTV colour standard for films and series. DynamicBlack technology deepens dark scenes for a more cinematic image.

Brightness

Brightness is 1,600 lumens in Standard mode and 1,280 lumens in ECO mode. For the best picture, use it in a room you can darken, especially for films and HDR content.

Picture size and placement

The throw ratio is 1.22, and the projector works from 1.6 m up to 8.1 m away.

Automatic vertical keystone correction straightens the picture when the projector is placed at an angle. 2D keystone gives fine horizontal and vertical adjustment. Focus is manual, so you set it once for your room. The GD712 can be placed on a table or mounted on a ceiling, for front or rear projection.

LED light source that lasts

The LED RGB light source is rated for 20,000 hours in Normal mode and 30,000 hours in Economy mode. There is no lamp to replace, and colours stay consistent over the projector’s life. It is also rated for 24/7 use.

Easy everyday use

• HDMI Power On: the projector switches on when it receives an HDMI signal.
• AC Power On: it starts when the room power is switched on.
• Two HDMI ports: keep a console and a PC connected together.
• Built-in 10 W speaker for gaming and shows, plus an audio output for a soundbar or speakers.
