Description
Acer X1328Wi: a bright WXGA projector for meeting rooms, classrooms and everyday presentations.
The Acer X1328Wi is a DLP projector with native WXGA 1280 × 800 resolution and 4,500 ANSI lumens. It keeps slides, spreadsheets and videos clear in rooms with daylight or office lighting. HDMI and VGA inputs connect both new and older laptops, and the 16:10 picture matches most laptop screens.
Bright picture in lit rooms
4,500 ANSI lumens
With 4,500 ANSI lumens in standard mode and 3,600 ANSI lumens in ECO mode, the X1328Wi is made for rooms where you can’t close every blind. Presentations and lessons stay readable without turning off the lights.
WXGA resolution and 20,000:1 contrast
The native 1280 × 800 resolution uses the 16:10 format of most laptops, so slides fill the screen without black bars. The 20,000:1 contrast ratio keeps text crisp and charts easy to read.
Acer X1328Wi placement and picture size
The throw ratio of 1.54–1.72 with 1.1x optical zoom lets you adjust the picture without moving the projector. It works from 1 m to 10 m away, for pictures up to 300 inches.
| Distance from screen | Approx. picture size (16:10) |
|---|---|
| 2.0 m | 60″ |
| 3.3 m | 100″ |
| 4.0 m | 120″ |
Vertical keystone correction of ±40° straightens the picture when the projector sits lower or higher than the screen. For a fixed setup, use a projector stand or a ceiling mount.
Connect old and new devices
The X1328Wi has HDMI for modern laptops and media players, VGA for older computers, composite video, USB, and audio in and out. A built-in 3 W speaker covers small rooms; for larger rooms, connect external speakers to the audio output.

Will it work with an older laptop?
Yes. Besides HDMI, it has a VGA input, and a VGA cable is in the box.
How far from the wall should I place it?
About 2 m gives a 60-inch picture and about 3.3 m gives 100 inches.
