Dahua HFW1200RL Cyprus | 2MP HDCVI Smart Dual Light Bullet 2.8mm

Description

Dahua HFW1200RL Cyprus customers get a reliable Full HD security camera built for homes, shops and small businesses that want clear video at an affordable price. The Dahua HAC-HFW1200RL-IL-A combines 1080p resolution, a wide 2.8 mm lens and Smart Dual Light illumination in a compact, weatherproof bullet housing.

Dahua HFW1200RL Cyprus: Full HD Over Coaxial Cable

This is an HDCVI camera, which means it transmits 1080p video over standard coaxial cable to a DVR (also called an XVR). Many homes and shops in Cyprus already have coaxial cabling from older analogue CCTV systems, and this camera lets you upgrade to Full HD without rewiring the property. A single BNC connector supports CVI, TVI, AHD and CVBS output, so it also works with many existing recorders.

Wide 2.8 mm Field of View

The 2.8 mm lens covers a wide 102° horizontal view, ideal for entrances, driveways, gardens and shop floors. According to Dahua’s DORI standard (EN 62676-4), it can detect a person at up to 41.4 m, observe at 16.5 m, recognise at 8.3 m and identify at 4.1 m.

Smart Dual Light: Infrared and Full Colour at Night

The camera has both infrared and warm white illuminators, each with a range of up to 30 m, and three illumination modes:

Smart Dual Light mode keeps the camera in discreet infrared until a person or vehicle is detected, then switches on the warm light so the event is recorded in full colour, revealing clothing and vehicle colours. Warm light mode records in full colour all night. IR mode keeps the camera in black and white with no visible light, ideal where light could disturb neighbours.

What You Need for Smart Dual Light

Smart Dual Light detection is handled by a compatible Dahua XVR in CVI or TVI mode. To use it, the XVR firmware must be V4.001.0000004.1.R.220323 or later. For Dahua HFW1200RL Cyprus installations, we recommend pairing the camera with a recent Dahua XVR so every feature works out of the box.

Built-In Microphone for Audio Recording

A built-in microphone with a pick-up range of up to 8 m records audio together with video over the same coaxial cable (in CVI and TVI modes), adding valuable context to recorded events without extra wiring.

Clear Images in Difficult Light

3D noise reduction, digital WDR, BLC and HLC help the camera handle the strong sunlight and deep shadows typical of Cyprus, as well as headlights shining into the lens at night. Up to 8 privacy masking zones let you hide areas such as a neighbour’s windows.

Built for Outdoor Use in Cyprus

With an IP67 rating, the camera is protected against dust and heavy rain, and it operates from –40°C to +60°C, comfortably handling the hottest Cypriot summers. Its quick-install structure supports wall, ceiling and pole mounting, and the camera uses just 2.6 W at 12 V DC.
