Dahua PDW3849 Cyprus | 8MP 180° TiOC Panoramic Camera

Description

Dahua PDW3849 Cyprus is a panoramic security camera designed to replace two conventional cameras with one. Its two 1/2.7″ 4MP sensors are digitally spliced into a single 8MP image with a 180° field of view, giving you complete, blind-spot-free coverage of a wide area from one mounting point.

Dahua PDW3849 Cyprus: One Camera, a Full 180° View

Most cameras with a 2.8mm lens cover around 100° horizontally, which often means installing two cameras to watch a wide yard, a parking area or a shopfront. The Dahua PDW3849-A180 outputs one continuous panoramic image at up to 4096 × 1860 resolution at 20 fps, so you see the whole scene in a single stream instead of switching between two feeds. Fewer cameras means fewer cables, fewer recorder channels and a cleaner installation.

Digital Pan, Tilt and Zoom (EPTZ)

EPTZ lets you zoom into any part of the panoramic image and follow detected targets digitally, combining the overview of a wide-angle camera with the detail of a zoom view.

TiOC: See, Detect and Deter

TiOC (Three-in-One Camera) brings together full-colour night vision, AI detection and active deterrence in a single device.

Full-Colour Night Vision

Built-in warm lights with a range of up to 20 m and infrared LEDs with a range of up to 25 m keep the image clear after dark. With Smart Dual Light, the camera stays in discreet infrared mode and switches on the warm light only when a person or vehicle is detected, recording important events in full colour and revealing details such as clothing and car colour.

Active Deterrence with Lights and Siren

When an intruder is detected, the camera can trigger red and blue flashing lights and a built-in siren, warning them before anything happens. For Dahua PDW3849 Cyprus customers with holiday homes that stand empty for part of the year, active deterrence adds an important layer of protection while you are away.

Two-Way Audio

A built-in microphone and speaker let you listen and speak through the camera from the app, whether to greet a courier at the gate or warn someone on your property.

WizSense AI with Fewer False Alarms

As part of Dahua’s WizSense series, the camera uses Smart Motion Detection (SMD) to classify humans and vehicles. Movement from trees, animals, rain or changing light is filtered out, so your notifications focus on real events. Every Dahua PDW3849 Cyprus installation also supports one-tap disarming, which turns off alerts and deterrence when you are at home with a single tap in the app.

Efficient Recording and Storage

AI H.265 and Smart H.265+ compression reduce bandwidth and storage requirements while keeping important details sharp. ROI coding prioritises quality in the areas that matter. The camera records to a microSD card of up to 256 GB, or to a compatible NVR for longer retention. Explore our range of NVR recorders to build a complete system.

Built for Outdoor Conditions in Cyprus

With an IP67-rated housing, the camera is protected against dust and heavy rain, making it suitable for outdoor installation on villas, shops, offices and warehouses. For Dahua PDW3849 Cyprus installations, mount the camera at the centre of the area you want to cover, so the 180° view reaches both sides evenly.

Simple Installation with PoE

The camera is powered over Ethernet (PoE, IEEE 802.3af) or by 12V DC, so a single network cable carries both power and video. Alarm input and output plus audio input and output allow integration with sirens, sensors and other security devices. Full technical documentation is available on the official Dahua website.
