The Acer PL6820 is a DLP laser projector with 4K UHD 3840 × 2160 resolution and 5,500 ANSI lumens. It is designed for spaces where a TV is too small and an ordinary projector is not bright enough: boardrooms, lecture halls, hotels, churches, bars and event spaces. The laser light source needs no lamp changes, and LAN and RS-232 ports allow remote control in fixed installations.

The 3840 × 2160 resolution keeps small text, detailed drawings and spreadsheets sharp even on a very large screen. The 50,000:1 contrast ratio gives deeper blacks and stronger depth in video.

Laser light source

The laser light source is rated for 20,000 hours in standard mode and 30,000 hours in Eco mode. There are no lamps to replace, so maintenance costs stay low.

Acer PL6820 installation and picture size

The 1.7x zoom (throw ratio 1.2–2.04) and vertical lens shift give you a lot of freedom when placing the projector. You can install it closer to or further from the screen and still fill it, without tilting the projector. Horizontal and vertical keystone correction of ±30° fine-tunes the picture.

Pictures go up to 300 inches, so the PL6820 also suits halls and event spaces. For a fixed setup, plan a ceiling mount and a projector screen sized for the room.

Connectivity and control

Two HDMI inputs

Keep two sources connected together, for example a meeting room PC and a laptop, or a media player and a camera.

LAN and RS-232 control

The RJ-45 LAN port and RS-232 serial port let installers and IT teams control the projector remotely or connect it to room control systems. A USB Type-A port is also included.

Built-in speakers

Two built-in speakers cover smaller rooms. For larger spaces, connect a sound system.
