Ajax Superior Hub Hybrid 2 Cyprus: key features

Wired and wireless in one system

Fibra wired devices are ideal for new buildings and renovations, where cables can be hidden in the walls. Jeweller wireless devices are perfect where cables are impossible. Superior Hub Hybrid 2 connects both, so every room gets the best solution – and you manage everything in one Ajax app.

8 Fibra lines for large installations

Eight Fibra lines support radial, ring and tree topologies, with cable runs up to 2,000 m on U/UTP Cat.5. The ring topology keeps the system working even if a cable is cut in one place.

Two 4G SIM cards and Ethernet

The hub communicates over Ethernet and two micro SIM cards with 2G/3G/4G (LTE). Channels run in parallel, so if the internet goes down or a mobile network fails, alarms still reach your phone and the monitoring company. An external 4G antenna can be connected for basements and difficult locations.

Long wireless range

Jeweller radio reaches wireless detectors up to 3,490 m away in open space, and photos travel over Wings up to about 3,000 m. Up to 5 ReX range extenders can be added for very large properties.

Photo verification

Combined with MotionCam detectors, the hub delivers alarm photos up to 960 x 720 px within about 9 seconds, so you see what triggered the alarm before you react.

Backup power and professional casing

A 7 Ah backup battery keeps the system and up to 15 wired devices running for up to 60 hours during a power cut. The lockable casing with front and rear tamper protection is designed for professional installations.

Ajax Superior Hub Hybrid 2 Cyprus: frequently asked questions

Can I use only wireless devices with it?

Yes. It supports both Fibra wired and Jeweller wireless devices, and you can use one type or mix them as needed.

Is the backup battery included?

No. A 12 V backup battery (7 Ah recommended) must be added separately. We can supply and install it.

What happens if the internet goes down?

The hub switches to the cellular network through the two SIM cards, so alarms still reach your phone and the monitoring company.

Do Ajax cameras need this hub?

No. Ajax cameras and NVRs can work without a hub, but connected to the hub they add video verification to alarms and scenarios.
