Ajax KeyPad TouchScreen Cyprus | 5-Inch Wireless Keypad Black

Description

Ajax KeyPad TouchScreen Cyprus is the most intuitive way to control an Ajax security system from inside your home or business. Combining security management and smart home control on a single 5-inch touch display, the Ajax KeyPad TouchScreen Jeweller replaces rows of buttons with a clean, responsive interface that anyone in the household can use from day one.

Ajax KeyPad TouchScreen Cyprus: A 5-Inch Display That Feels Familiar

The keypad features a 5-inch IPS touchscreen with a capacitive sensor and scratch-resistant glass. Its interface mirrors the Ajax smartphone apps, so users who already manage their system from their phone instantly feel at home. You can choose between a dark or light theme to match your interior, and the design quality has been recognised with a Red Dot Design Award.

Automatic Wake-Up and Adaptive Brightness

The screen wakes up automatically as you approach, with the detection distance adjustable in the app. Automatic brightness adapts the display to room lighting, keeping it readable while saving battery power.

Four Ways to Arm and Disarm

The Ajax KeyPad TouchScreen supports access codes, Ajax Pass cards and Tag key fobs using DESFire EV1 and EV2 contactless technology, and smartphones with the Ajax app via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE 4.2 or later) on both Android and iOS. A user can simply hold their phone near the keypad to authorise, without typing a code.

Codes for Family, Staff and Guests

Depending on the hub model, the keypad supports up to 200 personal codes, up to 200 duress codes and up to 99 codes for people who are not registered in the Ajax system. This makes Ajax KeyPad TouchScreen Cyprus installations ideal for holiday homes and short-term rentals: guests, cleaners and maintenance staff receive their own temporary code, which you can revoke at any time from the app.

Security and Smart Home Control on One Screen

The Ajax KeyPad TouchScreen goes far beyond arming and disarming. It turns your alarm keypad into a compact control centre for the whole property.

Group Management

Users can change the security mode of the groups they have access to directly on the display, for example arming the garage and ground floor at night while staying free to move around upstairs.

Up to Six Scenario Buttons

A dedicated tab holds up to six buttons, each controlling an automation device or a group of devices. One touch when leaving can arm the system, switch off the lights, cut power to appliances and close the shutters.

Three Types of Panic Buttons

A separate tab provides panic, fire and auxiliary help buttons, allowing anyone in the home to raise an alarm or call for assistance instantly, a valuable feature for families with elderly relatives or young children.

Built-In Protection and Event History

The keypad locks automatically after more than three incorrect codes or unverified access devices within one minute. A tamper alarm reports any attempt to remove it from the wall or SmartBracket, and pre-authorisation can hide the system status until a valid code or access device is presented. Every Ajax KeyPad TouchScreen Cyprus installation also displays up to 100 recent system events, so you can see what happened while you were away.

Wireless Installation and Power

With Jeweller and Wings radio technologies and a range of up to 1,700 m in open space, the keypad installs without any cabling. Six pre-installed AA lithium batteries provide up to 1.5 years of operation with typical daily use. An optional 12V power supply (not included) enables the always-on display and remote firmware updates, with the batteries acting as backup.

Where to Install in Cyprus

The Ajax KeyPad TouchScreen is designed for indoor use only, within an operating range of −10°C to +40°C. For Ajax KeyPad TouchScreen Cyprus customers, we recommend mounting it near the main entrance inside the property, away from direct sunlight and sun-facing windows. For gates and outdoor entrances, choose the weatherproof Ajax KeyPad Outdoor instead.

Compatibility

The keypad works exclusively with a compatible Ajax hub, which is not included. Explore our full range of Ajax alarm systems at EMAGCY, or view the full technical documentation on the official Ajax website.
