The Ajax EN54 Fire ReX Jeweller is a certified radio range extender for the Ajax EN54 wireless fire alarm system. It extends the reach of the EN54 Fire Hub to far rooms, extra floors and separate buildings, so every detector and sounder stays reliably connected – even through thick concrete walls and basements typical of Cyprus buildings.

In short – Ajax EN54 Fire ReX Cyprus: EN 54-18 certified wireless range extender, up to 199 devices per extender, up to 5 per hub, radio range up to 1,800 m, Ethernet connection to the hub, up to 100 h backup, in Black.

Ajax EN54 Fire ReX Cyprus: key features

Extends the fire alarm network

Fire ReX relays signals between the EN54 Fire Hub and the wireless fire devices. Each extender can serve up to 199 devices, and up to 5 Fire ReX can be added to one hub – enough for hotels, schools, office blocks and large warehouses.

Long range over radio or Ethernet

Jeweller and Wings radio reach up to 1,800 m in open space between the hub and the extender, and between the extender and its devices. Where walls or distance are a problem, Fire ReX can also connect to the hub over Ethernet – ideal for separate buildings on the same site.

Fast alarm delivery

Fire alarms reach the control panel in about 0.3 seconds. Connection loss is detected after 36 seconds, so a fault never goes unnoticed.

Backup power for fire safety

Fire ReX is mains powered (100–240 V) and uses an internal backup battery, sold separately. With Ethernet enabled, it keeps working for up to 50 hours with the 24 h battery or up to 100 hours with the 72 h battery.

Tamper protection and clear indication

Two tamper buttons report if the extender is removed from the wall or the mounting panel is detached. Green and yellow LEDs show power status and device faults at a glance.

Ajax EN54 Fire ReX Cyprus: when do you need it?

• The building has several floors, thick concrete walls or a basement
• Detectors are far from the control panel
• The site has more than one building, such as a hotel with separate blocks
