In short – Ajax EN54 Fire ReX White Cyprus: EN 54-18 certified wireless range extender in white, up to 199 devices per extender, up to 5 per hub, radio range up to 1,800 m, Ethernet link to the hub, up to 100 h backup.

Ajax EN54 Fire ReX White Cyprus: key features

More coverage for your fire alarm

The extender relays alarms and events between the EN54 Fire Hub and wireless fire devices. One Fire ReX supports up to 199 devices, and a single hub can use up to 5 extenders – so even large hotels, schools and office buildings can be fully covered.

Radio or Ethernet connection

The radio link reaches up to 1,800 m in open space, both to the hub and to the connected devices. For separate buildings or difficult radio conditions, Fire ReX can be linked to the hub with an Ethernet cable instead.

Alarms in a fraction of a second

A fire alarm travels from the extender to the control panel in about 0.3 seconds, and a lost connection is reported after 36 seconds.

Reliable backup power

The extender runs on mains power (100–240 V) with an internal EN54 backup battery, sold separately. With Ethernet enabled it continues working for up to 50 hours on the 24 h battery or up to 100 hours on the 72 h battery.

White design that blends in

The white housing suits the classic white walls and ceilings found in most Cyprus homes, hotels and offices. Two tamper buttons and green and yellow status LEDs complete the professional design.

Ajax EN54 Fire ReX White Cyprus: frequently asked questions

Is there any difference between the white and black version?

No. Both colours have exactly the same technology, range and certification. Choose white for white walls and ceilings, or black for modern dark interiors.

Does it work with a standard Ajax Hub?

No. Fire ReX is made for the Ajax EN54 fire line and works with the Ajax EN54 Fire Hub Jeweller. For intrusion systems, Ajax offers the ReX 2 range extender.

Is the backup battery included?

No. The EN54 Internal Battery (24 h or 72 h) is sold separately. We can supply and install it.

How many extenders do I need?

It depends on the size and construction of the building. We can measure the radio signal on site and recommend the right number.
