The black Ajax EN54 FireProtect (Sounder/VAD) Jeweller is a wireless fire alarm siren and strobe in one device. The black housing suits modern interiors with dark or concrete ceilings.

In short – Ajax EN54 FireProtect Sounder VAD Black Cyprus: wireless EN 54-3 sounder and EN 54-23 visual alarm, up to 100 dB, 32 tones, flashing LED frame, IP54, up to 1,700 m radio range, up to 5 years battery life, in Black.

Ajax EN54 FireProtect Sounder VAD Black Cyprus: key features

Siren and strobe in one

The device combines an EN 54-3 certified sounder with an EN 54-23 certified visual alarm device. During a fire alarm it sounds and flashes at the same time, so occupants are warned even where noise, music or machinery could cover the sound.

Up to 100 dB with 32 tones

Choose from 32 sound patterns with volumes up to 100 dB at 1 metre. The installer or administrator sets tone and volume in the Ajax app, and all sounders on the same EN54 Fire Hub sound in sync.

Visual alarm for accessibility

The LED frame flashes at 0.5 Hz (90 ms on, 1,910 ms off), giving a clear visual warning for people with hearing impairments and in places where they may be wearing ear protection – an important part of inclusive fire safety in hotels, offices and public buildings.

IP54 for indoor and outdoor use

Protected against dust and water splashes, the device can be installed indoors and in covered outdoor areas such as car parks, terraces and loading bays.

Wireless with long battery life

Jeweller radio reaches the control panel or a range extender up to 1,700 m away in open space, and connection loss is detected after 36 seconds. Four preinstalled CR123A batteries last up to 5 years and are replaced without tools.

• Ceiling mounting up to 3 m, wall mounting up to 2.4 m
• SmartBracket included, with a lock opened only by a special tool
