Ajax DoorProtect Jeweller – Wireless Door & Window Sensor (White)

Description

Ajax DoorProtect Cyprus – Protect Every Door and Window

Most break-ins start at a door or a window. The Ajax DoorProtect Cyprus detects the moment one is opened and sends an instant alert to your phone through the Ajax app. It is small, discreet and wireless, so it installs in minutes on front doors, balcony doors, windows, garages and even cabinets.

Part of the Ajax Baseline range, DoorProtect is one of the most popular Ajax devices worldwide, and the foundation of any reliable alarm system.

Why Choose the Ajax DoorProtect Cyprus

Instant, Reliable Detection

A high-quality reed switch rated for 2,000,000 openings detects every opening. Built-in protection against contact chattering prevents false alarms.

Up to 7 Years of Battery Life

The pre-installed CR123A battery lasts up to 7 years. The Ajax app warns you well in advance when it’s time to replace it.

1,200m Jeweller Wireless Range

Ajax’s Jeweller technology provides two-way, encrypted communication with the hub at up to 1,200m in open space. It covers large villas, multi-floor houses and gardens. For even larger properties, add a ReX range extender.

Chime Feature

Pair DoorProtect with an Ajax siren such as the Ajax HomeSiren and hear a gentle chime every time the door opens – even when the alarm is disarmed. It’s ideal for shops, offices and families with small children.

Two Magnets for Any Door

DoorProtect includes a small and a large magnet, so you can install it on narrow window frames or wider doors.

Extra Wired Input

An additional NC input lets you connect a third-party wired detector, such as an existing wired contact, to the Ajax system.

Ajax DoorProtect Use Cases

Homes and Villas

Protect front doors, sliding balcony doors and ground-floor windows.

Holiday Homes and Airbnb Properties

Get notified on your phone whenever a door opens, wherever you are – perfect for properties you don’t visit every week.

Shops and Offices

Combine detection with the chime feature to know when customers enter.

Garages, Storage and Cabinets

Monitor garages, stock rooms, safes or medicine cabinets.

Important – Ajax Hub Required

The Ajax DoorProtect works only with an Ajax hub. It is compatible with all Jeweller hubs, including the Ajax Hub (2G) Jeweller, Hub 2 and Hub 2 Plus, as well as the ReX and ReX 2 range extenders. DoorProtect is designed for indoor use.

Quick Installation and Setup

Step 1 – Pair with the Hub

Scan the QR code in the Ajax app and the sensor is added in seconds.

Step 2 – Mount

Fix the SmartBracket and the magnet to the door or window frame with screws or double-sided tape.

Step 3 – Configure

Set names, rooms, chime and alarm behaviour remotely in the app.

Certified Security

The Ajax DoorProtect complies with EN 50131 Grade 2, the European standard for intrusion alarm systems, so it is suitable for professional installations.
